Job Title: Chief Business Officer - Food and Beverages

Indra Holdings oversees the specialty regional rice brand SWAH, healthy functional beverage brand and a ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage brand. As an early-stage startup focused on strategic growth and operational excellence, we are seeking a seasoned Chief Business Officer to join the Founder's Office, reporting to the Chairman. This pivotal role will help drive the development and execution of our business operations, shaping the future of our diverse portfolio.

Role Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Chief Business Officer (CBO) to oversee end-to-end business operations, including procurement, supply chain, sales, and product development. The CBO will play a critical role in our senior management team and will report directly to the Chairman of the Board. This role demands strong leadership, strategic insight, and cross-functional management capabilities.

This position will be groomed for a future CEO role. The candidate should have held P&L responsibilities of at least 500 Cr of annual turnover in FMCG and/or consumer sectors. MNC experience is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and lead holistic business strategies for all our brands that align with overall company vision and goals.
• Full responsibility for P&L management across multiple product categories.
• Manage business strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards, with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks.
• Lead sales, business development, and distribution strategies to foster growth across retail, direct-to-consumer, and other channels.
• Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies, including vendor management, procurement, inventory, and logistics.
• Build and develop strategic partnerships, including contract manufacturers, key retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
• Drive innovation in product development by working closely with R&D, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer demands.
• Establish ambitious performance and growth goals, continuously monitoring and optimizing business operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams, promoting maximum performance and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Prepare comprehensive, data-driven reports on all critical business aspects for the Chairman and senior leadership team.
• Act as a key spokesperson for the company, representing the business at industry events and to key stakeholders.
• Implement a consumer insight-driven approach, fostering agility and swift responsiveness to changing market dynamics.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders, ensuring long-term financial stability.
• Oversee financial planning and risk management strategies, ensuring that the company remains resilient and adaptable to market changes.
