About the Role

We're looking for a product-focused UI Engineer who cares about clean interfaces and smooth interactions. You'll help shape the user experience of the Praja platform across mobile and web.

We're Praja - a social network app, revolutionizing how Bharat connects and stays informed! We're building for the next billion users, focusing on Tier 2 & 3 cities with a platform that speaks their language (literally!). Our app delivers real-time news and authentic content directly from trusted sources, while empowering local leaders with tools to strengthen their political journey.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement, improve and maintain features of the Praja Mobile App and web-based tools

* Setup and maintain automated workflows for sanity checks and recurring needs of the team

* Collaborate with other engineers to design scalable and performant systems

* Develop prototypes quickly for evaluating ideas internally

Requirements

Must haves:

• 2+ Years of experience building high-quality UIs for mobile applications
• Experience with modern declarative UI frameworks like Flutter / React (Native) / Jetpack Compose / Swift UI
• Strong design sense and a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces
• Comfortable diving into backend codebases and writing your own APIs when needed

Nice to have:

• Experience in backend development of web services interacting with a database
• Familiarity with frameworks like Rails and NestJS
