Job Description:

As a Python Developer at Delta Velocity, you'll join our engineering team working on our core platform. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career developers (0-2 years experience) to make a significant impact while growing their technical skills. You'll contribute directly to the development of our backend services that power our AI-enabled logistics and supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Python
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Debug issues and troubleshoot production problems
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and learn from peers

Required Skills:

• 0-2 years of experience in software development
• Strong Python programming skills with understanding of OOP principles.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Basic understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Version control experience with Git
• Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on innovation
• Background in Computer Science or Engineering from top institutions (IITs, NITs preferred)
