Job Title : Video Editor

Job Description

Primary Purpose: 

·      Responsible for creating solutions that have a high visual impact.

·      The role involves listening to clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions. 

·      Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives.

·      Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience

·      Take a brief to grasp the brand's needs and specifications

·      Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity

·      Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film

·      Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects

·      Create rough and final cuts

·      Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

·      Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process

·      Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

·      Minimum 2-3 years of video editing or post-production experience

·      Proficient in various non-linear video editing tools and other software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom)

·      Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles

·      Creative and innovative

·      Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

·      Bachelor’s degree in Film or a related field
