Node JS developer Job Description
Job brief
We are looking for a Node JS Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a Node JS Developer, should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. It is preferred to be also familiar with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing server-side applications using the Nodejs framework
- Developing and maintaining APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to support web and mobile applications.
- Writing efficient and reusable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
- Testing and debugging code to ensure that it meets quality standards.
- Collaborating with other team members, including designers and developers, to develop solutions that meet client needs.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Well versed with write or integrate APIs (REST or SOAP)
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
- Create security and data protection settings.
- Write technical documentation.
