Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer with expertise in carpet design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of textile trends, weaving techniques, and color theory to develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing carpet designs. This role requires proficiency in CAD, knowledge of materials, and the ability to work closely with product development and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design original patterns and textures for woven, tufted, or printed carpets.
• Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and emerging textile innovations.
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, and concept presentations for new collections.
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and digital renderings for production.
• Maintain an organized library of design assets and samples for reference.
• Attend industry trade shows, workshops, and supplier meetings to stay updated on new technologies and materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A Design Portfolio of all the best work/assignments collated at one place
• 0-1 year of experience
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software for textile design.
• Knowledge of textile construction, weaving techniques, and fiber properties.
• Excellent color sense and pattern-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to travel for Market Research.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or interest in carpet manufacturing processes such as tufting, weaving, or printing.
• Familiarity with sustainability trends and eco-friendly textile solutions.
• Understanding of 3D modeling software for textile visualization.
