(UAE Nationals Only)


Stipend: 10,000 - 12,000


Role Purpose:

·        The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in technical support and IT operations. The IT Support Engineer will assist in troubleshooting system, hardware, and software issues, ensuring seamless IT support for end-users. This role involves monitoring and analyzing IT Helpdesk data to identify recurring technical challenges and training needs. Additionally, the trainee will contribute to IT infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to deployment and implementation processes.  

Key Accountabilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting 

·        Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues. 

·        Respond to employee queries, run diagnostic programs, and guide end-users through problem resolution. 

·        Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals. 

Helpdesk & IT Administration 

·        Act as an IT Help Desk representative, ensuring all queries are addressed efficiently. 

·        Maintain and update IT Helpdesk records, tracking issues and resolutions. 

·        Monitor IT Helpdesk data to identify recurring issues and training needs. 

User Training & Support 

·        Provide training and guidance to end-users when needed. 

·        Educate employees on IT best practices and security protocols. 

IT Asset & Infrastructure Management 

·        Maintain asset records for end-user IT equipment. 

·        Assist in IT infrastructure projects during deployment and implementation phases. 

·        Support computer clean-up, recycling, and proper disposal of old equipment. 

General IT Support & Customer Service 

·        Provide administrative support to the IT function. 

·        Deliver high-quality customer service to ensure a smooth IT experience for employees. 

Qualifications:

·        BSc degree in Computer science or equivalent. 

·        1+ years of experience in providing IT Helpdesk support services. 

·        Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues (including MAC OS). 

·        Sound technical knowledge of IT systems such as servers, virtualization, Active Directory, Networking, Routing & Telecom systems. 

·        Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

·        Fluent English and Arabic is required. 

·        Proficient MS Office skills and M365 Certification 

·        Open to travel across business locations (requires a driver's license/car)
