Some tasks will be:

• 3D conceptualization of the screw compressors, with as main components: castings, rotors, bearings and seals. Go from an idea or issue to a fully functional 3D design or prototype
• Do the required checks to have a safe and functional design including FEA simulations and tolerance stack-ups.
• You prepare 2D’s and review the design together with colleagues. Once your design is complete and reviewed, you make sure it is released in our product lifetime management system.
• Bring your design to life: Take the lead in prototype preparation, from ordering components to hands-on coordinating the assembly in the lab or test cell.
• You continuously improve the product by solving quality issues and proposing design approaches/changes to tackle current challenges on e.g. cost, complexity, manufacturability, …. If needed, you identify validation tests and follow-up in our testing lab.
