Responsibilities:-

1. Design, develop, and implement an automated testing framework for ML-based pipelines
2. Play an active role in architecture design stages of the forecasting products to ensure built-in testability of ML systems from design
3. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration, regression, and performance testing
4. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure the quality and reliability of the forecasting system
5. Develop and execute automated tests for model training, deployment, and inference stages
6. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
7. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
8. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and advanced testing techniques
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA automation and machine learning

Qualifications:-

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on automation and integration testing
3. Strong programming skills in Python, preferably with fluency in the usual data engineering and data science stack
4. Proficient in using pySpark and Databricks
5. Experience with QA tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Business Driven Development (BDD) or similar
6. Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and data science workflows
7. Extensive experience in testing backend components of ML-based systems
8. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Bitbucket, AzureDevOps or similar
9. User experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
11. Strong communication and collaboration skills
