Responsibilities:-

Potential candidate is expected to be 70% hands on with the data engineering team and engage with the architects and other stakeholders (PM, PO etc) for the remainder.  

1. Perform upstream and downstream impact analysis of complex data flows which involved multiple source systems.
2. Contribute actively to design and delivery of migrating data products from legacy to cloud setup.
3. Facilitate key POC’s & mentor team data engineers on technical solutions.
4. Facilitate and contribute to formal Code & design reviews.
5. Oversight and contribution to managing operational data products (Level 3 Support).
6. Working with Architects, SME’s, business and product stakeholders in identifying data products and workloads in legacy warehouse.
7. Participate and co-own product architecture and drive strategic roadmap for plant data warehouse.

Qualifications:-

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software engineering or related fields are preferences.
2. +6 years of experience in on-prem & cloud data warehousing domain.
3. Formidable command on advanced SQL & ELT design patterns & data flow/ workload performance optimization.
