
Job Responsibilities:
1. Merchandising Strategy & Product Management:
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies in line with business goals to drive growth and profitability.
• Maintain and update product catalogs and design banks, creating assortment mixes that reflect customer preferences and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams for optimal product display, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives.
2. Inventory & Stock Management:
• Analyze inventory to identify slow-moving and aged stock, recommending actions like redistribution, markdowns, or vendor returns to optimize inventory turnover.
• Manage stock rotation efficiently and provide insights on minimizing excess or dead stock.
3. Market Research & Trend Analysis:
• Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, seasonal trends, and competitive activities, applying insights to enhance product offerings.
• Stay updated on industry developments and advise on new opportunities for product assortment.
4. Supplier Coordination & Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and quality product delivery, contributing to negotiations and vendor relationship management.
• Oversee product quality checks and work to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
5. Data Analytics & Reporting:
• Use analytics tools to monitor product performance and inventory metrics, generating reports to inform decision-making and improve merchandising outcomes.
6. Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance product visibility.
Applicant Requirements / Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a merchandising or a creative role within the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
• Knowledge of jewelry materials, design aesthetics, and market trends is preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Effective negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi is required.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
