CES’ Consulting Services – Market Research

We are looking to fill the position of an Analyst in Consulting team who will be responsible for working on consulting projects and market reports in the energy sector.

The research covers the entire chain, from upstream mining to manufacturing plants, electric vehicle (EV), energy storage (ESS), battery recycling, from supply & demand, price & cost, and technology development perspectives. Key focus areas include battery supply, EV sales, ESS deployment.

Job Description

• Author market reports, develop insightful research notes on the latest industry trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities in these markets.
• Maintain up-to-date database of energy storage projects, electric vehicle sales, battery manufacturing plants, battery assembling facilities etc.
• Work on strategy and market-based consulting projects for domestic and international clients – on markets like electric mobility, energy storage, battery supply chain– and their applications, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for market intelligence webinars.
• Utilize data analytics and research methodologies to forecast market developments and provide actionable insights.
• Constant interaction with industry players, attend industry conferences, to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and market trends.
• Drive client and multi-stakeholder discussions on various projects.
• Prepare power point and excel based reports/data for clients within deadlines.
• Prepare bid documents for consulting tenders.
• Closely monitor market regularly and gain Intelligence and knowledge from market on regular basis.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical and MBA (preferred)
• Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years in energy industry market research (primary & secondary research skills are must)
•  Knowledge of decarbonization and Good understanding of electricity markets, stationary energy storage, and/or electric vehicles ecosystem
• Inclination for reading, writing, blogging,
• Hands on Experience in analytics and basic excel modelling.
• Proficiency in MS Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Proficiency in presentations to clients
