Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Build customized financial reports including building, testing, and validating till go live stage of new reports. Also, handle change requests on the existing reports.
• Translate business processes and data flows into business requirements – write BRD & FRD.
• Perform data cleansing and transformation, data mapping, and migration of historical data.
• Assist company’s complex technical accounting, internal and external reporting, IPO preparation, as well as systems/processes and people. 
• Assist in financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings, and the application and implementation of complex accounting standards for U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Perform process review and optimization.
• Lead/manage the implementations of new modules in NetSuite/ERP systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders & cross-platform teams

6-Month Accomplishments

• Develop deep Relationships with internal Stakeholders in Accounting and Engineering teams.
• Create a plan and a roadmap for finance systems initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Interact with Accounting to gather requirements and write 5-6 BRDs for the customization of the Key reports in NetSuite
• Implement automation around 2-3 processes thus creating an impact from a reporting standpoint
• Customize and deploy reports of varied complexities in NetSuite

12+ Month Accomplishments

• Become a go to partner for the Accounting and Revenue team.
• Build a playbook for finance systems initiatives from a geographical expansion perspective.
• Understand the complete finance business processes (P2P, O2C & R2R) within Poshmark and able to guide teammates from the the process standpoint
• Implement new projects in Revenue SubLedger and build a framework catered towards the organic growth of the company.

What you’ll bring:

• 4 to 7 years of overall work experience
• 4 to 7 years of experience in NetSuite implementation
• Knowledge on Procure to Pay (P2P/PTP), Order to Cash (O2C/OTC) & Record to Report (R2R/RTR) cycles
• Well-versed in NetSuite Administration, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder, Suite Analytics (saved searches & custom reporting) and Advanced HTML/PDF
• Experience with implementing and integrating SuiteApp (i.e. Fixed Assets, OneWorld, etc.) and other plug & play systems (i.e. Bill.com, Concur, Expensify, etc.)
• Experience with requirement gathering and documentation/business processes revamp and optimization/systems configuration/change and issues management
• Knowledge of systems functional design & technical design and systems architecture
• Knowledge of report customization, systems configuration, data augmentation/migration
• Knowledge of JavaScript & SQL
• Knowledge of the software and SaaS industry
• Strong analytical, business problem solving and solution design skills
• 4 to 6 years of financial and technical accounting experience
• Project management experience
• Certification on NetSuite(good to have)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years of working experience in any/all of the Finance modules such as General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Asset, Cash Management, Purchasing etc.
• Should be able to work in a team environment
• Should possess analytical skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
