About us: 

We serve as the engineering and product division of Redseer Strategy Consultants. We develop products/platforms which benchmark and assess the dynamic landscape of organizations and users in the consumer internet space. 

Job Title: Data Scientist 

Location: Bengaluru 

Role and responsibilities: 

• Develop machine learning solutions as per project requirements 
• Communicate project/task related technical nuances to non-technical audience in clear and simple language 
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists 
• Liaise with other teammates to understand and develop best practices for project workflow 
• Maintain and automate routine analysis tasks 
• Should be a self-starter taking responsibility of delivering end-to-end solutions 

Technical Requirements: 

• Proficient with Python and numerical analysis packages such as pandas, numpy, etc. and working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS 
• Working knowledge of fundamental machine learning algorithms used for tasks like Regression, Classification and Clustering 
• Solid understanding and experience with state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM) 
• Able to tune hyperparameters and adjust model configuration to mitigate bias-variance tradeoff and produce high quality results on new data 
• Experience using and integrating OpenAI API for extraction, classification and a wide array of NLP tasks is desirable 
• Develop robust data pipelines using OOP, exception handling and production best practices 

Qualifications: 

• Graduate in computer science, mathematics or other computational disciplines or equivalent expertise gained from professional work 
• 2+ years of experience in data science/machine learning roles
