Hey Guys, I have an opening to share with you.
Our team is looking to hire Analyst in Global Finance ( MI - FP&A) team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support Finance MI team in EMEA region (headquarted in London) in regular BAU and is able to manage their requests/queries
- Responsible for preparation and delivery of Wholesale/Group daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS reporting for EMEA Finance heads
- Advice and assist the stakeholders (onshore Finance teams) in translating business requirements into deliverables
- Work closely with various Finance teams to collaborate and produce meaningful P&L metrics and supporting commentary
- Support the regional CFO office with requests and create value-add in all the deliverables
- Partner closely with Global Markets Business Management, the Chief Financial Officer and Wholesale Strategy to review the performance of business units and responsible for producing financial analysis in support of decision making and resource allocation
- Responsible for all the month-end P&L closure in the Ledger/Books and post journals if necessary
- P&L book structure maintenance, ensure hierarchy is aligned and raise change requests where necessary
- Ensure Ledger and MI P&L agree and conduct regular reconciliations to identify outliers
- Active participation in yearly Budget exercise as well as Mid-year Forecasting processes
- Represent Finance in any business re-organisation and ensure changes are reflected in the reporting suite and book hierarchy
- Ability to prioritize high volumes of deliverables across multiple disciplines working under pressure
- Adhoc projects, presentations and any other MIS requests.
Desired Experience/ Skillset:
- 2+ years of working knowledge of advance Excel (including VBA Macros) and Power Point presentations
- Prior use of MIS tools such as Essbase or Tableau is desirable
- Oracle Business Intelligence and Business Objects is desirable
- Hands-on skills and experience in Power BI, added advantage if Alteryx, SQL or Python knowledge
- Creating reports and interactive Data Visualizations in Power BI
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of learning new technologies quickly and troubleshooting abilities
