Hey Guys, I have an opening at Unravel for a Data Engineer/Analyst to share with you. Please find the attached JD for more information.

This role will require you to

● gain a complete understanding of all existing data pipelines flowing in and out of the product, and take ownership of these ● collaborate with the Content and Product teams to define new workflows to support current and upcoming product features and translate them them into data workflows

● setup and manage microservices to interact within internal systems and partner ecosystems.

● setup automated validation and reporting systems to improve the visibility of the processes and to monitor the workflows and ensure there are no failures

● conduct research to identify and evaluate new sources of content that would aid the content requirements in the roadmap

● perform exploratory data analysis on vendor ecosystems to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the opportunity in partnerships.

● to identify the KPIs that will aid in measuring the performance of the workflows.

● to provide insights on the data workflows and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimizing the runtimes and minimizing errors.

To deliver these goals, you will

● work closely with the product team to understand the content landscape on the app and devise short-term and long-term plans to support the product roadmap.

● drive the improvement and enrichment of internal data sources (Unravel, partner datasets) for delivering more value to the users

● work closely with the research team to evaluate external data sources for likely value to users.

● build reports & dashboards that enable a more data aware organization and reflect the health of data workflows.

● build significant expertise in the travel domain and travel-related content to ensure Unravel’s product content offering is among the best in the world

Expected skills- Python, SQL, ETL processes, Dashboarding, working with APIs Tools/Software you may work with- Jupyter notebooks, VSCode or any other IDE, Mysql client, AWS EC2, various AWS services like Lambda, SES, SNS, SQS, Kinesis etc, Grafana, Looker studio, Apache airflow, Postman, Github, FastAPI

Good to have- Experience with cloud services (AWS & Google cloud), familiar with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
