What you'll do:

• Design and Develop high-quality Android applications with efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Deliver high-performing and scalable mobile solutions to problems in healthcare.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Code review and bug-fixing for improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Maintain software documentation.
• Mentor junior developers to help them complete their tasks.

Who were looking for:

• Min of 5+ years of experience in android app development using Kotlin & Java
• Strong knowledge of Android Material Design and architecture patterns and best practices
• Working knowledge of Google architecture components along with MVVM with Dagger 2, Retrofit, Coroutines, RxJava, RoomDB, Navigation, espresso, mockito or equivalent libraries on Android
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Hands on experience with Profiler is a plus
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Thorough understanding of mobile application performance and scalability
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Possess and demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
