Responsibilities:

• Play a key role advancing the user experience of the MATLAB Editor by creating new interfaces as well as the supporting infrastructure
• Design, implement, and test high-visiblity features for the MATLAB Editor
• Prepare and present design specifications to team and senior management via design reviews
• Work closely with UX, QE, Doc and PM to produce high-quality features in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Minimum qualifications:Experience with JavaScript
• A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
• Qualifications:Excellent software engineering fundamentals, and software design skills
• Excellent user interface design and implementation skills
• Experience with full-stack JavaScript programming. 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong software engineering skills with industry experience delivering commercial software
• A passion for quality and delivering testable, and well-tested solutions
