MaxLinear is seeking for a WiFi QA Validation Engineer to join our growing team.  Our team analyzes and creates WiFi test cases and procedures, documents test results/logs to assist debugging, analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, investigates root cause of test failures, automates Wi-Fi test plans with high performance and reliability through innovative solutions that enable thorough verification of Wi-Fi features.  If you are eager to learn new technologies and approaches and be part of a very progressive WiFi QA Test Team, are a team player that can work as a solid individual contributor, and have a high level of self-motivation – your place is with us!

Qualifications 

• Bachelors (or advanced degree) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in verification of cutting-edge products like multi-gigabit WiFi-6/6E and Wi-Fi Mesh systems
• Strong systems-level experience and very good hands-on experience in Wi-Fi test and validation
• Significant experience in develop, modify, and execute Wi-Fi test plans
• Experience with various test tools like traffic generators such as chariot, iperf, veriwave, spirant, protocol analyzers such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Ethereal , automation front ends, test results management, Test Quality Centre(QC). 
• Knowledge of wireless networking technology, 802.11 WFA certification process, 802.11 mesh networks.
• Knowledge of 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax/6GHz standards, including WPA2/3 security protocols
• Python / TCL / Perl / Shell programming experience in creating Automation test suites will be an additional advantage.
