Looking for Manager, Enterprise Applications
Job Description:
ePS is looking for a superstar Manager, Enterprise Applications to join our growing IT team. The Manager, Enterprise Applications reports to the VP, IT and Cloud Services and will assist with systems architecture roadmap and implementation strategies of business systems for the company and run the team responsible for the same.
Basic Function
You will build and own internal business systems to ensure we are optimally leveraging tools, while architecting solutions that will scale. You will partner with business function owners to develop and execute a business systems plan that helps achieve our business goals, reduce security risks, and drive automation, while maintaining reliable and effective systems company-wide. This role is the internal expert on the overall use of applications and acts as the liaison between business operations, our internal IT infrastructure team and various vendors and partners. You will efficeiently manage your team of internal SMEs and their collaborative interactions with external resources.
Primary Duties
Main duties and responsibilities
· Ownership of strategic roadmaps for business applications (Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, UKG Pro, Pardot) and integrations.
· Define detailed functional requirements for automations and integrations to NetSuite, Salesforce.
· Engage with business leaders across the organization to influence and create the right technical solutions to solve business problems and improve business processes
· Distribute and coordinate work across internal and external resources using your experience with software in a cloud-based (e.g., SaaS) environment including Accounting, Sales Force Automation, Marketing Campaigns and Web presence.
· Collaborate and communicate with project managers and colleagues to facilitate on-time and on-budget project delivery.
· Research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards
· Mentor and support existing team members while continuing to build out the technology team to support the business
· Contribute to the pre-testing phase of development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
· Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users, hold training workshops as necessary, and other user-related activities.
· Develop, distribute, and coordinate in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
Required Experience
· Bachelor of Engineering, Business, IT, or related field. MBA a plus.
· 5+ years of Salesforce techno-functional experience with complex and large implementation/support activities
· 5+ years of hands-on administration experience with enterprise finance and/or human resources Systems such as: Netsuite, Workday, Coupa, UKG, and Pardot
· Solid experience with integration between multiple, highly complex systems
· Direct people management experience, ideally with a team of 10+ technical experts (L3). (Project manager or team lead roles considered.)
· Passionate about business systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, Business Intelligence, or similar.
· Work experience in business application support. Practical understanding of various Enterprise Business Applications, such as Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Sharepoint, etc.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work equally well in self-managed and team-based Agile/Scrum projects.
· Possess a strong business and customer/client focus.
Core Skills
· Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices. Experience with database management.
· Demonstrated skill in developing automated business systems.
· Knowledge of Information Security best practices
