Our client is a Global Engineering & Systems Integration company with a global footprint.

It is looking for Embedded Android Application Developers who would be responsible for developing in-vehicle Applications for the cockpit infotainment units running Android Automotive. The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application development for several features and managing the delivery of those.

Job responsibilities :

- Participate in project development from conception to completion

- Be a sole developer or part of a team as necessary.

- Communicate proactively and collaborate with teammates.

- Work in both native and cross-platform environments.

- Work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality

- Websites and backend services for Automotive Applications

- Work with team members across the world and closely collaborate to deliver on time.

- Integration experience to back-end database or transactional systems.

- Experience Leading and mentoring teams.

- Be able to work with globally distributed teams and in an innovative start-up like environment.

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of Android Application Development experience.

- Experience developing native and cross-platform apps for Android.

- Development experience in Java, Kotlin, and cross-platform language (C/C++ are a plus).

- Deep understanding of Android development and design paradigms

- Enthusiasm for Android development and the latest mobile technologies

- An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment

- A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.

- A natural curiosity for new scripting languages, frameworks, and technologies.

- High personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, documentation, etc.

- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams and higher management.
