Regulatory IT

Regulatory IT comprises of software systems which manage reporting to Regulators in the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. These systems

• Manage the generation of real time reports to Regulators
• Control and monitor trades, positions and breaks for report accuracy
• Make pre-trade regulatory checks and alert compliance violations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the application.
• Interface with key stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of the business, and translate to detailed design specifications
• Lead in the creation, development, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of data models for databases, data marts, and data warehouses
• Develop methods to store, organize, and report data and incorporate development operations automation where appropriate
• Identify potential design, process and/or system changes to optimize performance, and mitigate risks
• Study data, identify patterns, make sense out of it and convert it to algorithms.
• Designs and plans BI, and other Visualization Tools capturing and analyzing data from multiple sources to make data-driven decisions, as well as debugs, monitors, and troubleshoots solutions.
• Carry out exploratory development to integrate new components into existing software.
• Propose new technical solutions and best practices, discuss and present their ideas in detail to stakeholders
• Prepare diagrams and exhibits to explain proposed system to managers and users in a clear format.
• Contribute to Architecture standards and best practices
• Contribute to the Release and Sprint planning.

Mandatory Technical expertise required:

• Oracle (+++) / T-SQL (+++) (preferably) – including optimization of stored procedures, queries
• Python
• Exposure to any ETL Tool (++)

Good to have Technical skills:

• MS BI 2008 R2/2012
• SSIS (++)
• SSRS (++) including MDX (+)
• SSAS 2008 R2/2012 (+) including MDX (+) and optimization of cube process performance
• Shell script (++)
• Subversion (+)
• Angular JS
• C#.net
