Job Summary:
Reporting to the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) Enablement Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting with sales operations process improvement, leveraging technology such as the SAP (Callidus) Commissions incentive compensation management solution. The responsibilities include software application design, implementation, integration, testing, and creating user instructions and support documentation of the compensation systems.
This position will be responsible for assisting with sales compensation system operations including:
Source System Data Integration
PL/SQL
Informatica
Unix Shell Script Development
Bash shell script design and development
Web Service Development
Development of Commission Estimation Services utilizing the Python programming language
Production Support
Execution of data interface and pipelines as needed
Monitoring of data interfaces and pipeline execution
Troubleshooting data interface or pipeline issues as required
Managing IT-related compatibility and compliance requests
Responsibilities:
- Assist with sales incentive compensation management requirements elicitation and documentation
- Assist with SAP Commissions (Callidus) solution architectural design
- Design and development of data integration components and ETL components in the Informatica ETL tool
- Design and development of shell scripts and other components such as required for the bash shell
- Participate in system validation activities including SIT, UAT, performance and security testing.
- Assist with deployment of Informatica, Shell Scripts and SAP Commissions (Callidus) application into the multiple test environment and production environment.
- Data interface and SAP Commissions (Callidus) pipeline execution and monitoring
- Python-based web service design, development, and testing
- Management of the completion of IT-related compatibility and compliance requests
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, computer science or related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in software development.
Key Competencies
- Experience with SQL, Oracle DB, Informatica, and Unix scripting
- Systems integration design and implementation experience required
- Production support experience preferred
- Ability to lead and conduct performance tuning of the application for efficient pipeline processing
- Ability to develop training assets and train others on the implementation
- Strong understanding of field sales office business and headquarters a plus
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
