Job Description :

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team.These are some typical responsibilities you will have :- Lead the data design of solutions for large projects and programs; through expert knowledge translate high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards.- Direct large specialist teams and manage senior business stakeholders to secure strong engagement- Simplify the existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the group- Lead collaborative team working with other areas to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes, and meet the business needs with the agreed quality of service- Ensure project has end-to-end solution and compliance with enterprise data model and logical data groups- Lead and participate in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts. Report key architecture decisions and implications to the architectural governance forums- Identify and communicate appropriate resource requirements and work breakdown structure based on skills profile and best fit to complete the end-to-end solution design, and work with the project manager to ensure that project plans and finances align with the design- Drive project knowledge back to the enterprise data model and ensure that it evolves correctly- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions- Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence- Create and maintain current- and target-state data architectures.- Define and manage standards, guidelines and processes to ensure data quality- Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state- Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activitiesWe will be looking for the following skills :- Experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud (preferred AWS) and hybrid environments.- Also, an understanding of a variety of data access and analytics approaches (for example, microservices and event-based architectures).- Entity Relationship modelling, metadata systems, data quality tools and techniques- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift)- Experience developing reference architecture, principles and standards- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams- Experience with ETL and other business intelligence tools- Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technology- Experience in data warehousing, data modelling and/or data analysis- Good knowledge of data management, data integration and database development techniques
