Roles & Responsibilities :-

Designing and implementing new features and functionality.- Maintaining and modifying the existing WordPress plugins and themes based on the business needs.- Establishing and guiding the system architecture.- Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.- Maintaining the high quality of the codebase and tests.- Owning the full control over the CMS features and incidents.- Handling the complex deployments.- Collaborating with distributed teams.- Collaborating with third party services and integrating their services into CMS.- Ensuring our applications and infrastructure meet modern and high standards and best practices.- Mentoring team members and being a source of technical expertise in your areas of strength and will learn from others with different strengths.

Key Requirements :-

Deep understanding of PHP and best practices.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to lead and nurture developers of different abilities.- Strong development experience in the WordPress domain.- Minimum 6 years of industry experience in developing enterprise level web applications.- Be a practitioner of and advocate for TDD/BDD- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript. Proficiency in React or similar is a bonus.- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.- Strong development experience with building RESTful APIs.- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.- Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB.- Being a team player and exposure to Agile Ways of working

Good to have skills :-

Exposure to WordPress VIP ecosystem.- Contribution to any open-source projects.- Participation in any local tech communities.- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
