We are pleased to inform you that Piramal Group is interested in hiring alumni from IMI, New Delhi, for the role of General Manager - Strategy (Financial Services) - Chairman’s Office.
The role requires working across all strategic, financial, administrative responsibilities of the Chairman’s Office that spread particularly across Financial Services. The incumbent provides strategic and critical advise on projects of high importance.
The details are as follows:
Experience Requirements: 12 - 19 years
Educational Qualifications: PGDM/ PGDM BFS
Location: Mumbai
CTC: Based on current compensation & open to negotiation
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience working in the field of financial services/consulting; experience in the real estate domain is a must
- Impeccable communication, managerial and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management,
- CXO, Board, Media
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across functions,
- industries & geographies
- Excellent understanding of business strategy, investor relations, M&A,
- Finance, Risk Management & Legal
- Adept with financial modelling, valuation, underwriting and diligence
- Nimble business mind, with high focus on project reporting,
- investments, borrowings & budgets
- Must be able to work independently, be reliable and organized
- Skillset: MS Office, Excel, Power-point, Power BI
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee strategic business initiatives from origination, development and through successful execution in alignment with Group Strategy.
- Work on business strategy, new businesses acquisitions, divestment, market trends, call out changing paradigms to ensure high impact.
- Support principal executives with financial models and analysis. Develop analytical frameworks and assessment metrics
- Deal evaluation of investment opportunities in real estate sector across commercial, hospitality, retail and residential projects.
- Responsible for analyzing and synthesizing data related to project studies.
- Identify economic/general issues with potential economic impact.
- Conducting market research on the industry and gather market intelligence
- Develop and communicate strategic roadmap, corporate strategies and business strategies. Consolidate and produce business plans and review together with other business heads/CEOs
- Work with the Finance, Legal, Secretarial, HR, M&A team and CEOs to evaluate various transactions and different ways of structuring them.
- Serve as a key liaison between various CEOs, business heads, other key senior leaders, regarding various aspects of the business to project manage change.
- Integrate and create cohesion among key individuals and functions, on both a formal and an informal, multi- or bilateral level, connecting the dots across the organization for improved alignment
- Be a hustling multi-tasker, supporting internal teams, learning new areas and become the go to person for key initiatives.
