Position:

Embedded Firmware Test Engineer

Roles and responsibilities

● Understand new embedded software, firmware, and hardware design.

● Create test strategies for UAT, functional, integration, performance, system testing with testing tools, and test automation as appropriate.

● Design, develop and execute verification and compliance test methods for hardware interfaces, embedded software, and network interfaces.

● Write test software to simulate real world environments and conditions.

● Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies as appropriate.

Requisite Skills

● Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.

● 3+ years experience in software/electrical engineering test roles.

● Working knowledge of different SDLC’s (software development life cycle.) particularly agile scrum/SAFe/DevOps model.

● Analytical Problem Solving Attitude.

Experience

● 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Minimum Qualification:

● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree.
