Researches, designs, develops, and optimizes software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Develops and optimizes compilers, flows, assemblers, models, tools, runtimes, and/or firmwares that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards, while leveraging strong knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductor devices, and chip layout. Designs, develops, and optimizes software abstractions and frameworks for acceleration with the FPGA for domains such as deep learning, DSP algorithms, or data analytics. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
QualificationsDesign Creation & Debug IP Team (CSWE India) is looking for an experienced manager to lead IP Design team. In this role you will be responsible for leading teams that design NIOS-V, Interconnect IPs, NOC & Debug IPs of Quartus Soft IP Solutions. The IP's are representative of our customer end solutions and, in some cases, Intel branded product. You will drive adoption of Intel Soft IP's as required. As a manager, you will set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Roles and Responsibilities: Build and lead a team responsible for power and performance validation of silicon and solutions o Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. o Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. o Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. o Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Team responsibilities include: � Coming up with newer versions of on-chip transfer protocols aimed for high speed on hyperflex and eASIC architectures � Developing new interconnect topologies to maximize data transfer throughput over long distances over FPGAs � Extending support for AXI and other Industry Standard Memory Mapped and Streaming protocols � Developing robust IP and networks which customers use in mission critical debug environments � Developing microprocessor and microcontroller architectures optimized for implementation on Intel FPGAs Qualifications: BS or MS plus min 15 years of experience in technical leadership roles in Soft IP Design Solutions for ASIC/FPGA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of hardware and software tools for content creation, execution and debug Strong attention to technical detail, data analysis and situational problem-solving skills Ability to handle complex issues with clarity to drive decisions Self-motivated and willing to take additional responsibilities for team's success Multitasking skills Collaborative, inclusive, influencer
