·      Prepare periodic management review reports for the company's performance across business divisions.

·      Review and analyze organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the company and as part of the strategy team, scrutinize/evaluate opportunities based on their strategic merit.

·      Develop a thorough understanding of the entire business value chain and proactively provide market insights/opportunity details for the next growth leap for the organisation.

·      Work on the annual business plans & prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual reports to track the progress and identify potential problem areas work towards predicting the solutions for the same.

·      The profile will report to the SVP Revenue & Corporate Strategy and as part of the strategic growth discussions of the organisation, he/she will also have a fair amount of interactions with the CEO & CFO on a fairly regular basis.

·      Building analytical models and performing regular financial, competitive, performance, and market analyses for the business in order to comprehensively value growth opportunities and ensure well-founded strategies are presented to the relevant leadership.

·      Monitoring the competitive landscape and ensuring the portfolio is well balanced relative to trends in the market.

·      Formulate growth strategy options for the businesses by analyzing domestic and global trends tracking competitors’ and channels’ business and their future plans.

·      Coordinate with the Team Leaders to ensure timely capture of the information across verticals for the monthly investor meetings.

·      Market research and evaluating new initiatives with a detailed analysis of strategic options, planning to achieve project objective as per the timelines.

·      Creating strategic options by seeding new opportunities that could be heavily invested in if appropriate.

·      Ability to obtain and filter information, identify key issues relevant to the achievement of long-term strategic goals, and commit to the realized course of action for the purpose of accomplishing those goals.

Qualifications: MBA from a Tier 1 B School (IIMs preferred) with 2-3 years of experience in Management Consultancy (Media Consultation experience preferred).

Skills needed:

Proactive demeanor with a willingness to learn/excel.

Analytical bent of mind, with a passion for /understanding of the content business.

Exceptional written & oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate across hierarchical levels.

Excellent proficiency in all MS Office software tools.
