applying these technologies of the future to build world-class products. Since its inception, we have been able to launch several products that have disrupted the industry. For example, with

our Smart Ignition line of products for two-wheelers, we improved engine performance and eliminated the need for a sensor, which resulted in significant cost reduction. 20,000,000+ vehicles now use Smart Ignition enabled products. Another recent example, with our integrated starter generator(ISG) line of products we eliminated the need for starter motors in vehicles. Since its launch in 2018, 500,000+ vehicles already use our ISG based products. Our ISG products use a novel state-of-the-art technology for sensor-less control of high-torque, low-speed motors. Currently, we are building products for automotive markets(ex: EV motor controllers, battery management systems, EFI's, ISG, IoT, etc) and for power generator markets(ex: Genset controllers, actuators, etc). We currently serve customers in India, the US, Africa, and France, and envision having a larger global presence in the next few years.

Major Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, design, implement and test embedded software
• Contribute to high-level software design through discussions and decisions
• Develop and maintain embedded software by diligently following the defined workflows
• Contribute to the improvement of software development workflows
• Develop and maintain high-quality product documentation
• Actively collaborate with other engineering teams(i.e hardware engineering, systems
• engineering, and end customers) to achieve product goals

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams that might have different priorities
• Interpersonal skills(networking & tolerance)
• Structured problem solving
• Tolerance to ambiguity
• Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision and limited information
• Clear and concise spoken and written communication skills

Experience & Education

• >2 years experience in developing embedded software for microcontrollers(preferably for safety-critical products)
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ and exposure to assembly language

Preferred Experience

• Experience building real-time concurrent software based on RTOS’s
• Good understanding of basic electronics
• Good understanding of MCU peripherals(ex: CAN, SPI, timers, ADC’s, etc)
• Hand-on experience with debug tools like multimeters, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc
• Experience developing software with python
• Experience writing code compliant to MISRA
• Familiarity with model-based software development
• Experience mentoring other engineers
