ShareChat, India’s fastest-growing social network platform is a technology-led start-up based out of Bangalore. ShareChat was started with a vision to provide a comfortable digital space not only for the people who want to use the internet in their mother tongue but also for first-time internet users, where everyone can share their thoughts, emotions, opinions; and become friends with others without any language barrier.

It is the first social network that has gathered geo-specific data on Indian content at a large scale and leverages a highly data-oriented approach to cater to the diverse needs of India’s internet users.

Responsibilities:

• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UI s across both mobile platforms.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Work with native modules/components when required.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Participating in POC development, Performance Tuning, etc.
• Participate in application design, code reviews, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Forensic attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, React & React Native.
• Working knowledge of anyone native language ( IOS/ Android)
• Experience in profiling tools in Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc
• An avid follower of the best practices, optimization strategies, and design patterns
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
• 1-3 years of experience with mobile development with a minimum 1 year of experience in React Native

Good to have skills:

• Have knowledge of TypeScript
• Building and releasing the app in Playstore and App Store
