Category Manager: 

Role: 

The Appliance Repairs Central team conceptualizes the strategy and owns the Pan India execution across UC’s markets. Central CM roles require the candidate to work across multiple mandates spanning 4 key areas –

• Customer Growth: Own the build and growth phase for an appliance/group of appliances. This involves multiple initiatives on the demand side – constantly reiterating the product-market fit for appliance repair services.
• Customer Experience: Developing a deep understanding of the drivers for appliance repair customer delight, and leading initiatives to constantly push the envelope on the NPS for the category.
• Partner Growth: Strategizing the retention/sustenance and building of a robust, reliable partner base across all the Indian markets, to capture seasonal growth and sustain this across the rest of the year.
• Partner Experience: Sharp focus on adequate Partner earnings, the right training, and skilling, equipping partners with necessary tools, and making their working lives easier, and allowing more productive time on jobs.

Requirement:  

The Category Manager role requires heavy cross-functional stakeholder management – working with product, tech, finance, city operations teams, and marketing. 

The individual is expected to seamlessly step into any part of the category and get cracking to solve the problem at hand. Hence, the individual should have both the ability to think sharply and also execute at a fast pace

While this role involves an element of strategizing, we expect candidates to have an ear to the ground, get their hands dirty, and solve real problems. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation + 1-2 years of work experience
• Strong data orientation (SQL, Excel & Google sheets proficiency is a must)
• Go-getter attitude and ability to be hands-on
• Strong ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others
