We are looking for a developer who rocks in Server-side web application logic using ruby with rails framework & MVC, loves working in a fast-paced team environment.
Job Description:
Looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer (5 years plus) to join our growing Conso4s team and work with an exciting US-based client. You will work hand-in-hand with the Product Owner and existing development team remotely across several product lines in the travel and loyalty sector.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 5 +years of solid experience in Ruby on Rails development with Webpacker
- Good software design skills, including MVC with the understanding of domain-driven design advantageous
- Developing scalable, robust, and secure features
PostgreSQL
- Experience in developing web services and consuming them
- Deploying to AWS and using associated AWS technologies such as Redis
- You are enthusiastic with an inquiring mind
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills
- Demonstrable experience of working in Agile based projects
Good to have:
- Vue.js, HTML, SASS
- Some experience in node.js or keen interest in acquiring
- Experience in loyalty programs, eCommerce, personalization ad marketing communications
- Familiarity with tooling to support the Agile process eg. JIRA/Confluence
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer science / Information technology or in a related field
Location: India / Remote
Notice Period: Immediate (preferable) and Max up to 20days
Remote Location: Note that you will be required to work US (Puerto Rico) based hours (-4 GMT). [ie 4.30 pm IST -12.30 am IST]
