Job Description

Become a member of one of the largest engineering companies in the world. Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Custom IP Solutions Engineering (CISE) team develops comprehensive solutions to provide customers easy and efficient access to the capabilities of Intel's FPGA devices. These solutions are provided as highly-configurable intellectual property (IP) cores that are fully integrated with Intel PSG's software CAD tool, Quartus Prime. As an IP Design Engineer, you will work with a team of engineers to develop and verify state-of-the-art Network interconnect, Communications interconnect and Data Processing based IP cores. You will be working on advanced device architectures, design definition, implementation and validation. You will also be developing design examples and demos, accompanied by a rich set of technical documentation.


Your specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Architecture and Design based on latest ethernet protocol specifications or custom chip-to-chip interfaces.
  • In depth knowledge with Verilog, System Verilog, RTL design, FPGA design, and FPGA design tools.
  • In depth knowledge with one of high speed serial protocols: PCIe, Ethernet.
  • Good programming skills (C, C++, perl, python, tcl, etc.).
  • Experience in Design and verification tools: simulation tools and debug tools.
  • End-to-end System level knowledge including design, software, firmware and hardware.
  • Device support and CAD tool integration
  • Hardware power-on and debug.
  • New product release and rollout support.
  • Customer technical support.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and work experience.


Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the following:RTL design with Verilog and VHDL.
  • Scripting languages and HW Val.
