About the company:

Propelld.com is a startup in the Education financing space backed by Stellaris Ventures, India Quotient, Indian Angel Network and Raghunandan (Taxiforsure). Founded by IIT, IIM, FMS alumni, the core team consists of strong finance and operations background from companies such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, New Silk Route, Schlumberger and Udaan. With AUM of INR 300 Crores and NPAs below 1%, we are one of the best managed portfolios and net profitable venture across the industry.

Having achieved a strong and profitable growth, we are planning to scale up in our existing domain and looking to launch exciting new projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of a product or significant components thereof through the entire product development lifecycle, including deployment and support
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Contribute significantly to process improvements

Profile Experience

Node-JS, MySQL/MongoDB

Technical

• Deployment on cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Distributed Systems, Microservices, Typescript
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Operational

• Effective Communication, understanding requirements and taking ownership of the work from development to production.

Education

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS or equivalent.

Special Requirements:

• Experience building highly available distributed systems will be a plus.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application will be a plus.
• DevOps experience and expertise (using Docker/container, Kubernetes and Knative) will be a plus.
