Job Description

As a Logic Design Engineer in IPG Mixed Signal IP Group, candidate will be responsible for development and execution activities of High Speed Serial IOs (HSIO).

Candidate will design, execute and debug the logic on Intel's HSIO, including contribution on silicon debugs. Candidate should have strong knowledge and experience with all aspects of the front end design and flows (Lint, CDC, synthesis constraints, Low Power Static Checks, timing analysis, UPF based low power design) and silicon debug experience.

The candidate should be highly motivated with strong problem solving skills and possess ability to work with analog circuit and SOC teams in several time zones. Candidates with a take-ownership attitude will succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• RTL development (Verilog)
• Design verification and debug using RTL simulations (Verilog, System Verilog).
• Experience with RTL simulation and debug tools (DVE, Verdi etc).
• Candidates with basic understanding of high speed interface standards such as PCIe, UFS and USB will be great plus.
• Candidates with experience in logic + analog behavioral models + Firmware environments will be a big advantage
• Hands-on experience of Lint, CDC, synthesis constraints, Low Power Static Checks, timing analysis, UPF based low power design
• Lead and participate in architectural changes, design reviews and code reviews.
• Support validation and integration efforts through debug and technical support.
• Strong problem-solving/debugging skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.

Education & Experience:

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering and at least 7/8 years of relevant experience.
