Rippling is built as a hub-and-spoke model, where the Hub team is at the center of all products built by Rippling. The Hub Platform team creates and maintains foundational services and building blocks that are leveraged by customers and product engineering teams at Rippling.

Your work will be used by many product teams and is critical to the success of the company. You will work directly with product engineering teams and end-users to architect complex and scalable systems. You will solve hard engineering problems every day - scaling our data platform, building frameworks (like a generic customer alerting framework) that span different product lines, creating a new language.

What You'll Do: 

• Develop high-quality software.
• Work on complex engineering problems.
• Have clear ownership over your projects.
• Work directly with partner teams and end-users to help Rippling continually differentiate itself via better products and technology

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional work experience
• Experience building a large-scale platform for web and mobile apps
• Expertise building complex, distributed services with Python, JavaScript, or Ruby
• Strong CS knowledge
• Bonus points if you’ve previously worked with AWS
• You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers.
• You’re passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact.
