The MTS, Network software role is responsible for building reliable Transport layer stack solutions in Pensando products

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop TCP/IP protocol features for specialized firmware environments
• Design, develop stateful L4-L7 feature software for high performance, multi core computing software environments
• Design, develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) which caters to multiple generations of ASICs
• Scope for major Innovations and solving challenging problems
• Design, develop and validate components of NVMe over Fabrics storage virtualization solution
• Scope for major Innovations and solving challenging problems

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of professional development experience in the field of Networking
• Strong SW design and programming skills (C, C++, Python)
• Experience with TCP/IP stack implementations
• Experience in software development for specialized networking data-planes
• Experience/exposure to specialized networking ASIC pipeline architectures a plus
• Experience in firmware development and debugging
• Knowledge of operating systems, kernel mode programming, device drivers, and related technologies and architectures
• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication
