Role: NAS and Unstructured Data Platform – Innovation Lab Head/Leader

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Lab head is responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives for NAS and Unstructured data platform domain.
• Responsible for providing the direction in all technology-related to NAS and Unstructured Data platform for Converged and Intelligent Storage Systems.
• The Innovation Lab head is responsible for overall direction of all technology within the India Storage team. This includes NAS, Object, HDFC, Stream that impact the Storage solution, products, and our customers.
• Responsible to communicate and work closely with CTO office; Responsible for Strategic Plan and short & Long term technology directions, product design, customer interactions with the overseas customers. Lead the NAS product strategic planning by identifying / specifying the industry application development trend in the domain.
• Leading the domain technical planning and be responsible for the competitiveness building of NAS products and the market alignment of the products.
• As Innovation Lab head, need to lead other experts, Handle Innovation, Technology Collaborations and collaboration with Local Universities etc
• Leading NAS product architecture: Complete technology and architecture design, guide related IT storage and NAS, and plan and integrate data products to ensure product delivery.
• Accurately identify scenario requirements and assist in developing key projects and customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• More than 15 years of experience in designing NAS products.
• Expereince in leading the design of related major NAS products in the industry and obtain successful application deployment.

• Have professional NAS background knowledge and have a professional and profound understanding of protocols, file systems, and Workload.
• Familiar with the architecture and service scenarios of NAS, HDFS, and objects.
• Have a deep understanding and industry-leading insights into the current integration of unstructured data and Data Lake.
• Have a deep understanding of the impact of new media and new index algorithms on file systems.
• Have a basic command of the architecture and solutions of mainstream vendors in the industry. Be able to output competitive analysis and plan competitiveness.
• Have general knowledge of innovation trends in the industry. Have general knowledge of application scenarios of new technologies such as AI and IOT. Beable to convert them into requirements and solution features.

• Have good analysis and judgment capabilities for industry development trends and identify potential customer requirements in advance.
• Continuously pay attention to new technology trends and have innovative awareness.
• Have excellent communication skills and project development capabilities. Be able to communicate with Huawei internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Excellent achievement orientation and team cooperation awareness.
