Job description

Role : Ruby on Rails Engineer / ROR

Experience : 1 to 3 years

Location : Bangalore. 5 Days Working.

Education Qualification : Tech/B.E for Tier-1/Tier-2/Tier-3 Colleges or equivalent institutes 

No hard bound restriction on the institutes, given the candidates are good

Skills :- Ruby, one compiled language: C, Java, Go or similar, Experience in front-end development using React/Angular or similar, Understanding of MVC frameworks such as Rails 

Responsibilities: 

• Helping customers to find products they need. 
• Contribute to the system vision, architecture, and performance. 
• Build, design and code new features and enhancements for web sites, APIs and backend platforms. 
• Building integration solutions for 3rd party services such as Payment Processing, Inventory management and Automation, Warehouse control systems and many more. ∙ Conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly. 
• Drive discussions to create/improve product, process and technology. 
• Do incremental changes to architecture: impact analysis of the same. 
• Get involved in the entire life cycle of projects including analysis, development, fixing and monitoring of issues. 

Requirements: 

• 1-3 years of professional experience, using Ruby. 
• Familiarity with one compiled language: C, Java, Go or similar. 
• Experience in front-end development using React/Angular or similar. 
• Understanding of MVC frameworks such as Rails 
• Experience with test driven development (RSpec, Cucumber, Capybara). 
• Strong *nix skills (Linux, FreeBSD, and/or Mac OS X preferred). 
• Familiarity with AWS. 
• Strong SQL skills, familiarity with PostgreSQL a plus. 
• Familiarity with GIT version control. 
• Understanding of HTML5 CSS3 and responsive web design. 
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. 
• Experience with application monitoring tools. 

Extra Points: 

• NewRelic. 
• Kafka, ElasticSearch. 
• Experience with RPC, SOA, Event-driven systems, Message Buses etc. ∙ Designed a service / application from scratch. 
• Follows Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
