Your Impact

The candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day support of storage networking, filesharing, and Backup & Recovery services, ensuring that the business defined service levels are maintained, and security and integrity of the system is preserved. This administrator is accountable for stability, resiliency, and general health related to storage and backup systems.

Your Team

• Describe the team this individual will be part of and how they fit into the overall company.
• The candidate will work closely with the IT Sustained Engineering team to support the day to day operations, troubleshooting and making sure that the business needs are met.

Your Day-to-Day

• Establish processes and policies, and perform tasks needed to maintain the overall integrity and reliability of Storage and Backup infrastructure systems.
• Support Storage, Backup and Recovery software platforms
• Monitor Backup and Recovery job performance and Backup infrastructure
• Providing timely resolution to problems or escalate to the appropriate technical leads
• Responsible in advising and assisting users in solving problems in storage and backup domain.
• Perform monitoring, analysing, documenting performance, and conducting trend analysis, as needed.

Must-Have Skills

• Storage and backup administration
• Familiarity with different Enterprise Storage Protocols
• Understanding of Enterprise Backup and Recovery technologies
• Experience with system administration of Windows/Linux/Unix/ESXi servers
