BASIC INFORMATION:

Position Title: Chief Replication Architect

Department: IT & Cloud BL, HTIPL

Location: Bangalore, India

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for strategy and planning of storage replication architecture. Based on business needs, in charge of the definition and judgment for business value and technical competency of storage replication.
• Responsible for storage replication architecture evolution and design. In charge of key architecture design of technical solution in storage replication.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 15 years of experience in the storage domain. With experience of leading architecture design in more than two storage replication or disaster recovery project. Architecture experience in the world-renowned storage enterprises or famous replication software is preferred.
• An in-depth study of key techniques and implementation details in enterprise storage replication and disaster recovery, including active-active storage, multi active storage, synchronous/asynchronous replication, migration, multi-site disaster recovery, network accelerating, network flow control, cross version compatibility, etc. on block storage /file system /object storage.
• An in-depth study of key techniques and implementation details in cloud storage disaster recovery and backup, including distributed processing, multi copy, multi version, multi-AZ replication, load balancing, cloud disaster recovery, cloud backup, cloud gateway, etc.
• Familiarity with the techniques and implementation of the known replication software, such as GAD, VPLEX, SRDF, Universal Replicator, Recover Point, Golden Gate, Data Guard, AWS Replication, etc. Deep understanding in new technology trends, such as SSD, Cloud, Big Data, Virtual Machines, etc.
• Strong team spirit, favorable skills of coordination and communication.
