AlmaConnect is India's fastest growing startup in the social networking space offering an alumni networking platform that is used by the top colleges of the country.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in Ruby on Rails with knowledge of other domains.

Responsibilities

• Architecting and designing scalable backend systems with development of micro services.
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code and reviewing others code.
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Creating unit tests using RSpec and setting up CI/CD pipeline
• Atleast 2 years solid experience in rails with minimum two projects' development from start to end.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Solid understanding of deploying and maintaining Rails apps within the AWS ECS environment with multi workers architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

The ideal candidate should be a smart learner and should know how to learn. The candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
